We know the new The Batman is coming in 2022, with Robert Pattison. But for over 5 decades we have had many great and not so great movies with The Dark Knight. Most films on this list have Batman as the protagonist, but simply as a supporting supporting role.
If you watch all the films, you will quickly see a development from Adam West's child-friendly and slightly silly Batman: The Movice from 1966 to the slightly more adult versions from 1989 to 1997. The development of the films became even more adult and somewhat darker with Nolan's film that started with Batman Begins in 2005.
