Rescued by Doctor Strange and Wong from this universe, to prove her origin to the heroes, she showed the body of Defender Strange, who was then buried by them. After many battles, she was captured and taken to Wundagore Mountain, where she was placed on an altar by the Scarlet Witch, with the intention of stripping her of her powers. To return to his own universe and save her, Doctor Strange used the zombified corpse of Defender Strange through forbidden spells from the Darkhold book to possess the dead and face Maximoff using the spirits of the damned who confronted him.
