Luke grows up unaware of his origins or the tragic fate of his parents at the end of the Clone Wars. His life takes a big turn when his uncle, Owen Lars, acquires the two droids R2-D2 and C-3PO who carry the Death Star plans. When his aunt and uncle are killed by Empire troops, orphaned Luke agrees to accompany Ben Kenobi to deliver the plans to the Rebel Alliance. He then begins his initiation as a Jedi.
