Steven Grant, who works in a small gift shop, begins to suffer from blackouts that bring back memories from another life. He discovers that he has dissociative identity disorder and shares his identity with mercenary Marc Spector. As his enemies converge on his identities, he delves into a deadly mystery among the powerful Egyptian gods. Created by Doug Moench, with illustrations on the comics by Don Perlin, Marc Spector is an ex-military man who becomes a mercenary and finds Khonshu, the moon god, who tasks him with becoming its incarnation on Earth.
