Chasing Bugs Bunny, the Tasmanian Devil, better known simply as Taz, first appeared in the animated short "Devil May Hare" in 1954, created by Robert McKimson. Also appearing in other Daffy Duck cartoons, Taz gained popularity in the 1990s as the main character in his own four-season series Taz-Mania. Hospitalized and the owner of a limitless appetite, devouring everything he can, Taz was part of the original Space Jam movie (1996) with the other Looney Tunes and interacts with legendary basketball player Michael Jordan, and returns in "Space Jam : A New Legacy" featuring basketball star LeBron James in a fictional version of himself, where he is abducted by the artificial intelligence called Al-G Rhythm into a virtual reality where they need
to win a basketball game against the monstrous game avatars of Goon Squad players created by Al-G.
